Welcome new members of the "Warming Hut Team"!

On Feb. 6th the newest members of the warming hut crew welcomed riders from all over, including the Easter Seals Ride In, held at The Balsams. We are proud to have Linda & Roger Boisse and their friend Alice Lyons as part of the "Hut Crew"! They had a fun filled day and can't wait to help out again.
This week, Bob & Sue Gaudette will be your "Hut Hosts"! The Pittsburg Fire/Rescue Department will receive a donation from the proceeds of The Hut on Feb. 13th. The Pittsburg Ridge Runners are grateful for our dedicated men and women who come to our aid in times of crisis and want to show our appreciation for their service. Please stop by and view the snowmobile rescue unit on display and say "thank you" to them. Let them know how much we value their service!

1st time

1st time to the infamous Warming Hut, and it hit the spot! Turkey soup, hot dog, hot chocolate, 1/2 frozen danish :O)was awesome! Looking forward to returning this Saturday and hope that the Gray Jay's will take the bread from the head this time, not just the hand! Buggers are pretty friendly, only other place we've seen friendly wings are the scavengers on Oahu that will literally crawl in your lap and beg like a dog. On another note PRR, awesome job with the trails cosidering the limited snowfall so far this year. Trails were top notch!

Warming Hut Whoopee Pies

I was just informed by Helga that there will be "Warming Hut Whoopee Pies" at the hut this coming Saturday, February 13, 2010. Get there early or they will all be gone. You can get the recipe on the club web site.

Our new Warming Hut crew.

Helga and I really appreciate all the help the club is getting to keep the "Warming Hut" open. Linda and Roger Boisse and Alice Lyons were life savers this weekend as all the other "Same Ten People" (STP) were occupied with many other activities this past weekend.

Anyone that would like to help out at the northern most restaurant in NH any Saturday is more than welcome to contact the club. We will support you and make sure you have a great experience manning the "hut"

Mark & Helga.
